The Sax Section

The Sax Section started life in 1992 as just that: the saxophone section of the North Cheshire Concert Band, but we found that we could also have fun performing as a chamber ensemble of four, five, or six saxophones. The Sax Quartet is a popular standard chamber ensemble, but music for five and six saxes is harder to come by, and so members of the group write quintet and sextet arrangements - using MOZART of course!
